| Retirement Property Investments Corporation (RPIC) is an independent educational and investment firm serving the retail and professional (Real Estate brokers, agents, mortgage brokers, certified financial planners, registered investment advisors, CFAs, CPAs and legal profession) needs of the self-directed IRA industry.
RPIC was established in 2006 by an experienced team of international finance and Real Estate professionals with over 50 years combined industry experience as a positive response and solution to our current broken retirement system, where 97% of Americans will be forced to retire below the poverty level, earning less than $1300 a month, and most will have no alternative but to rely on family or charity in order to survive.
RPIC’s primary objective is to assist Americans to retire wealthy and self-sufficiently by educating both professionals and everyday investors about the potential to substantially increase their retirement wealth by diversifying a portion of their IRA savings into profitable Real Estate.
When Congress passed the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) where born as a way to assist Americans to save for retirement.
Investment Firms on Wall Street, however, capitalized on this Security Act and convinced employees, employers, and the general public alike that their IRA investment options were limited to the products they sold: namely, stocks, bonds, and mutual funds.
In full accord with the purposes of ERISA, RPIC's overall objectives are to:
- Ease growing concerns over limitations and funding shortfalls of corporate pension plans by educating individuals about the benefits of self-directed IRAs investing in Real Estate.
- Help Americans to take advantage of the tax incentives available via IRA investing in Real Estate.
- Stimulate a societal movement to shift responsibility of retirement investing from the employer to the employee, from the stockbroker and mutual fund manager to the individual investor.
- Encourage Americans to take personal control and responsibility for their retirement accounts.
- Expand awareness of Real Estate investment options for self-directed IRAs
